This trauma-based therapeutic workshop will demonstrate how the impact of abuse, trauma, and generational impact the body, hindering the wholeness of a woman from reaching her fullest potential. During this session, participants will learn:
* How their body responds to disrupting issues.
* How to apply releasing techniques.
* How to control and manage ruminating thoughts.
Dr. Guyton's Therapeutic Session will address those sensitive subjects that women have a hard time discussing. Dr. Guyton's success is rooted in delivering personalized presentations that are creative and engaging, while providing unparallel expert guidance and support both before and after an event.
Ms. Teaira will lead us in “Guided Meditation & Sound Therapy”. This comprehensive therapeutic intervention technique is used to refresh inner obstacles, and re-ground the mind and body. Oral instructions will be demonstrated on meditation posture, attention to breathing & body techniques, and visualization. This complimentary exercise will help cultivate inner peace, calm excessive mental chatter, and empower you with the tools necessary to enhance your mindfulness and grounding.
Pastor Vicki is the Assistant Pastor of Grace Fellowship Church in Columbia, SC. Pastor Vicki will close out the retreat with a powerful message on “Spiritual Soul Releasing”, which will symbolize leaving behind all that was released and moving forth with a joyous soul and uplifted spirit. Provided the weather is welcoming, this closing, morning ceremony will take place at the lake of Camp Kinard, followed by pictures before departing for home.
